Just bored on a snow day in New Hampshire & looking through the pictures on your website...I have spent the last 5 amazing summers in Temagami at Canadian Adventure Camp & will be there for many more! Best place ever- a great "blink & you miss it" kind of spot & I hope it stays that way. Anyways y'all have a great site here & the pictures are fabulous! I love how I recognize many of the places in them :) . It's making me wish even more that summer would be here already! Alrighty, gotta go!

My family vacations in Elk Lake every two or three years from southern Ohio. We never fail to stop in Temagami. The atmosphere is unbelievable. We enjoy a great breakfast at the Busy Bee and then head on over to the best shop on our route, The Northland Trader.

I was home between Christmas and New Years to pick up my mom to bring her to my place in Longlac. I also had to take my son Tim back to North Bay in order to finish collage. While I was in Temagami I soon understood that this was not my home any more, my home is in Longlac. I did have a nice visit, ther was also some old friends that I had soon time to have coffee with. I still enjoy visiting Temagami but I'm also glad to get back home. The next time I get down to Temagami I hope to see more of the people that I grew up with. I will never forget Temagami or its people. Take care all. Mark Loney

Annual Manny Poirier Hockey Torney was held the last weekend in january and Donny Starkell's team beat Eddie and Darcy Roy's in a fast hard fought battle and old timers was won by haileybury and these guys sure can skate.i enjoyed it as it was like a big reunion like this summer and i wanted to comment on a few items the white bear challenge canoe race will on july 17th as i forgot i had to cook the meal saturday nite. the tower walk will not be happening as we will have the opening ceremonies at the waterfront in front of the town hall. the wine and cheese will be at 7 pm and the opening at 7:30 pm and then go back to the wine and cheese and the rest of the late people can register. banquet saturday nite and it will be 4 inside rounds of beef au jus cut profesionally by norm lacroix. i will be giving out medallions to old and new temagamites who have helped the town be what it is today so i hope to see everyone there the july long weekend. megwitch, merci and thank you.

Hello

Just wanted to say I finally made it to the hockey tournament for and what a treat. Some great hockey by some of the temagami boys. If someone sees Donny Starkell, tell him great game, think he scored 4 in last game against Darcy's Team.
Anyhoo, if you get a chance to make it to the tournament next year, it is a good time.

why are there no email addresses to respond to? This is a necessity isn't it?
Reply:
Currently, to protect user privacy and to keep email addresses private from spam email bots roaming the internet and picking up email addresses off the guestbook, I have hidden email addresses from public view. I will try and impliment a change to the script soon to allow for the option to hide or show your email address, that way it is up to the user to allow public viewing of their email addresses. Until I can complete this change, if you require emailed response, please include your email in the message body that will be made public.

Great screen savers. Since I continue to love canoeing, and have an opportunity here to canoe is fresh or salt water, I am now using the canoeing screen saver. What a great shot. Is that photo taken near the provincial park?
Reply:
Thanks! Yes, the photo is taken looking toward the Temagami (Finlayson) provincial park beaches, seen between the islands.

The spam was really becoming annoying. If this works better, then I'd be happy to follow Temagami news at this site. I'm adding a new guestbook site. Thanks Mike!

Hello, does anyone know Peggy Guppy's new phone number and/or how someone could get in touch with her? My mother has been unable to reach her with Peggy's last number. Johnny, is your book out?

Wow! What amazing pictures in the photo gallery! It makes me want to rush up north and see the sites for myself. They are some of the best pictures I have ever seen of things in the north. They really capture the true beauty of the north. I just wish I lived closer to Temagami to see the landscape and animals every day.
