This baby loon is already an excellent swimmer and diver. He especially likes to eat fish but also enjoys crayfish, snails, frogs, salamanders and leeches which his parents will catch for him at first. Within a few weeks of hatching he will begin to find his own food and by the time he's three months old he will be pretty much on his own.
