The Temagami and District Chamber of Commerce was originally organized in 1947.
The Motto of this organization is “ Unified thinking, plus unified action, brings in unified prosperity”.
The Object of the Temagami and District Chamber of Commerce is to promote and improve trade and commerce, and the economic, civic and social welfare of the district. To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of its district. To take active interest in the civil, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community. The
Chamber is representative of tourism interests and organizations from its entire area.
The Chamber also runs the Temagami information booth in the Welcome
Centre, where hundreds of visitors go for their vacation information.
